Help Me Fight To Protect My Son's Childhood

Hi, my name is Kaycie and my son Caleb just turned 12 and he means everything to me. When Caleb was 3yrs old we created a parenting plan giving us joint custody. His father and I have very different parenting styles which at times can make co-parenting difficult - but manageable. We chose to do 1 week with me and 1 week with his father. Caleb loves baseball and he is great at it. I support him 100%. His dad enrolled him in a year-round league when Caleb was 10 years old. Caleb was expected to be at every practice and game. That meant at 10yrs old he was playing baseball 7 days a week. He is now 12 and I feel as if his childhood is slipping away, that he doesn't have time to just be a kid. That too much stress is being placed on him to play baseball, which could rob him of his love of the game. When I told his dad I felt Caleb needed to take a break from the year- round league, it resulted in being served with an order to modify our parenting plan to grant him full custody.

A Court date is scheduled for 2/27/24 that's when the judge gets to decide if I can see my son or lose him for the next 14 months. His father hired a very good attorney. I need your help to retain a lawyer so I have representation and so I don't lose custody of Caleb. Please, if you can donate anything to help me hire a lawyer at least then I will have shot to ensure Caleb maintains both his parents in his life and is not harmed emotionally.
