Help me find out what happened to my mother
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jamielee and I’m fundraising to pay for a private investigation into my mothers death. She was only 50 years old and full of life. She sadly passed away whilst on holiday in Spain this year on 15th September.
At first, I was advised by the Spanish police that my mother had fallen in the street and a head trauma was the cause of her death. I flew out to Spain to discover this was not the case and that she had died from a pulmonary edema. I was so distraught and confused as to how I could have been told two completely different stories. I then went to identify my mothers body and was in complete shock to see with my own eyes that my mother had a serious impact wound to her forehead. I was not expecting nor warned about any physical injuries to my mums body as her death certificate stated that her passing was due to a problem with her lungs although she had no previous health problems. The injury would have made more sense if the first story I was told about my mother falling were to be true.
I requested the location of where my mother was found and went to visit the spot. I was in total disbelief where I arrived at the location, which was at the bottom of a rocky embankment between two busy motorways. There was no way my mother who did not drive could have got there on her own and this in itself seemed suspicious to me.
I raised my concerns with the Spanish police who had no time for me what so ever and were not only unhelpful but rude and purposefully uncooperative at such a difficult time leaving me with even more questions.
I need answers, closure and to be able to grieve but am unable to whilst there are so many unanswered questions.
The Scottish police are unwilling to release they’re own findings until they have received the Spanish reports which can take up to a year and I just can’t wait that long. I’m looking at hiring a private investigator but it’s proving to be very expensive. My mother didn’t have any life insurance so I’m looking for any help possible.
Please donate if you are able to or even share this post so that I can get answers for my mum as she didn’t deserve this.
Thank you,
Jamielee
