Help me finish my MSc, despite my disabilities

I am Bridget

I am 26 and from England. I have an undergraduate in Ecology and Conservation; I am currently on my way to getting a MSc in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law.

My hope is to use the knowledge from these degrees to make a real difference, both to animals lives and to environmental change..

I have been fascinated with animals since a young age, finding them to be both scientifically interesting and deserving of life that we keep making difficult for them.

My education has been held back a few times due to my health. I am disabled, with chronic illnesses and having had many brain surgeries (my latest at New Year 2019).

Two years ago, my family was also forced to move out of our home due to a hate crime against our disabilities. It resulted in disruption to my studies and financial hardship. I have been fortunate to return to my studies but I am struggling with paying for my accommodation, I won't be able to continue with my studies without accommodation.

Due to my disabilities, I have to have very specific accommodation and I can't work during my studying, this means I am very low on funds as Glasgow is already an expensive city. This money will help me to pay for my accommodation for the entire year.

My ask to you, please, is for some help. Anything at all.

This is the only way onto my career path and helping animals. I try so hard everyday to push past prejudice and my ill health, one thing that there is no pushing past by myself, is low funds.
