Help an Incredible Guatemalan Children's Home
Donation protected
Located in the Bay of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala, Manos de Compasion (MC) is a childrens' home caring for 50 local orphans from 3-18, most who have been previously sexually abused and given to MC by the Guatemalan courts. MC gives children housing, food, education and teaches them life skills and trades, enabling them to become self sufficient members of their Guatemalan communities.
Manos de Compassion is led by the work and vision of David and Deborah Reichard of the U.S., whose number one goal is to raise up abandon, abused, and forgotten children to be men and women of faith and change their respective communities. They are currently doing this on a minuscule budget of less than $1,500 per child annually. Their campus consists of 5 main buildings, including 4 homes and a school. Each of the homes have "house parents" that look after the children in those specific houses.
