Because after 10 years, my chair deserves a graceful retirement—and I do too.

Hey friends, kind strangers, and people with good taste in chairs —

I’m Cassidy, a physically disabled disability rights activist and content creator who’s been rolling through life in the same manual wheelchair for 10 years. That chair has been my steady sidekick through school, travel, work, advocacy, content creation, and all the everyday moments in between.

It’s done its job well—but after a decade of loyal service, it’s time for us both to move into a new chapter (me literally, it metaphorically). I’m fundraising for a new manual wheelchair that will support my body, improve my daily life, and help me keep showing up in the world fully and comfortably.

Why $10,000?

Wheelchairs like this are shockingly expensive—and unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover the features I actually need. This fundraiser will help me afford a chair that:

Keeps me safe and independent

Reduces my daily pain and fatigue
