Help me fundraise for an important cause ♡
This cause helps local domestic abuse victims become survivors/warriors by helping them get away from their abusers. How? I'll get to that but first:
DYK? Pets in the home are often used to manipulate & control domestic abuse victims
DYK? In Edmonton more homes have pets than children
DYK? Victims often refuse to leave their pets behind with their abuser and therefore stay
The ABSPCA has a program called "Pet Safekeeping" that they've been running for years and which provides safe havens for all pets belonging to the victim (including any vet care needed) whilst the victim gets away from their abuser, and when ready reunites them to start anew.
The ABSPCA is already doing an amazing job so please help me show them some love & appreciation by donating one time, monthly, starting your own fundraising campaign or by sponsoring me ($1000 donation) towards my haircut drive, because I'm cutting off my 24 inches as soon as we hit 10G and donating my long locks to the Wigs for Kids Charity (two birds with one stone!).
