Help me get back in my feet again!

As most of you may know and have seen on the news, early in the morning on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, my family and I suffered a tragedy that had become our worst nightmare. Our home caught on fire. The water damage was so much that we lost all our belongings, and the house is a total loss.

 

Luckily, everyone made it out safely without any scratch, thanks to a passing neighbor who alerted us on time of the incident.

 

I thank the Pembroke Pines fire department for their quick response; the fire was mainly on the roof, but as I mentioned, the water significantly damaged the house, and all our possessions were destroyed.

 

I am a first-time mom of a six-month-old baby boy and also care for my elderly mother, a cancer survivor with medical needs.

I bought that house a year ago, remodeled it using my life savings, and felt proud of myself for accomplishing the American dream for my whole family and becoming homeowners.

 

We are currently staying with family members in her apartment; this email aims to reach out to all my friends and family who can help us rebuild my home and my life from this devastating loss. We must rebuild from scratch, and we can use all the help we can get.
