Help me get my Nutrition Therapy Practitioner Certification! I have less than 1 month to raise $5,000 so that I can begin my online coursework at The Nutrition Therapy Association.
I have always been passionate about health and nutrition, and this 9-month course is the next step for me to achieve my dream of becoming a Holistic Doctor. I can't pay for this alone- I'm asking for YOUR help in making this a reality:
Tuition - $5,800
Books - $500
Travel Expenses ~ $2,200
(Besides working hard and saving up, I am hoping to win a scholarship that should cover part of this, but I still need at least $5,000 to pay for everything.)

The Passion: Since birth I have held the innate belief that divine health is nothing short of our inheritance. In 2014, I developed a severe case of psoriasis on my arms which left me both physically and mentally agonized. In an effort to heal myself, I invested countless hours researching various dietary interventions and medicinal herbs. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I overcame psoriasis after nearly 10 months of rigorous dietary and lifestyle interventions.
My greatest passion was birthed from my trials: To facilitate physical, emotional, and mental healing to every person I touch and to set them on course to fulfill their destiny.

The Program: I will begin coursework in September through the Nutrition Therapy Association to receive my Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (NTP) certification. This 9-month course focuses on healing the body with holistic and sustainable practices in food and wellness. Through this program, I will gain a deeper knowledge in the areas of anatomy and physiology, basic chemistry concepts, and the science of food and its nutritional components.
The bulk of the coursework is online, but it includes 3 weekend trips to Austin, TX (my favorite place on the planet!) to meet other students and attend workshops.

The need for true healing has never been greater in this day and age when the prevalence of chronic disease is so high. Through the means of prevention, education, traditional nutrition, and so forth, I will see the health of many restored to fullness. I choose to live my life by this philosophy: Nothing is irreversible. There is a solution, a cure, and an answer for every problem that relates to mind, body, and spirit. I commit my life to discovering new mysteries in the realm of health and look forward to administering hope and creative solutions to people who are in desperate need of true healing.
