Help Me Get to My Best Friend Julio's Wedding!

Hey hey everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support in making a journey that means the world to me. My childhood best friend, Julio Montenegro, is getting married on April 26th, and he’s asked me to be his best man! His wedding is happening in Saint George, Utah, and I'm currently in Belgium trying to find a way to get to Las Vegas, the city where I grew up, to meet up with the old gang of friends for his bachelor party before heading to Utah for the big day.

This trip wasn’t something I was planning—honestly, I didn’t expect to return to the U.S. so soon—but the universe has other plans. It’s already been four years since I left for Europe, and just a few weeks ago, I finally became a European citizen, meaning I can now legally work and start building my future here in Belgium/Europe. However, I’m still caught up in bureaucratic hurdles and trying to find work, which means I’m struggling just to just stay afloat—let alone afford a flight across the Atlantic as my current main source of income is whatever I'm able to make busking on the streets to keep my canine companion, Canelo, and myself fed.

Flights are currently around €900-1000, and I really need to be able to book soon before prices go up even more. Any small contribution would make a huge difference and bring me one step closer to being there for my best friend on one of the biggest days of his life.

The funds I’m trying to raise aren’t a huge amount in the grand scheme of things, but for me, in this moment, it’s everything. This trip isn’t just about attending a wedding; it’s a rare opportunity to reconnect with my friends and family in the U.S. after years away. Any support you can give will help cover flights, travel expenses, and essentials for the trip in which I would be extremely grateful for.

If we surpass the goal, any extra funds will go toward fueling up The Magical Mystery Tour Van for future travels between Belgium and Portugal, as well as keeping Canelo and I fed while we navigate this adventure.
