Help me give back to my orphanage in Ethiopia

For the first 12 years of my life, an orphanage in Wukro, Ethiopia, was the only home I knew. I was abandoned as a newborn in a hotel room, with no clue about my origins or who had left me there. Efforts to trace my biological family led nowhere, but the orphanage became my home—a place where I found care, family, and a sense of belonging. Then, at 12, I was adopted and brought to Canada, where I was given opportunities I never could have imagined.

I feel incredibly blessed for the life I have now, but I have never forgotten where I came from. It has been a lifelong goal of mine to return and give back to the place that raised me. Today, over 200 children just like me are living in the orphanage, and I want to do everything I can to make a difference in their lives.

This fundraiser will help provide essential items such as clothing, shoes, sanitary products, books, and school supplies—things that can significantly improve their daily lives and future opportunities.
