Help Me Give Roman Life Saving Treatment

Hi everyone, Meet Roman. The video below is the day I met him.
I got the call Saturday (2/3) that he's been diagnosed with Autoimmune Thrombocytopenia, sometimes known as ITP, a blood-clotting disorder. This has come as an absolute shock - as I didn't know anything was wrong other than some sudden, bloody diarrhea on Thursday night. I rushed him to the vet where they did a thorough exam and found Petechia (small red dots) in his ears, on his gums, and bruising on his stomach. Their tests and bloodwork led to this diagnosis of the blood clotting disorder.
It has been an absolute rollercoaster since. On Sunday morning, he began puking blood and I rushed him to an ER in Chattanooga where I was told that he was bleeding internally and that there was nothing they could do for him to minimize the bleeding. They sent him home and he continued to worsen. By Sunday evening, I called a different ER in Chattanooga, one that Specializes in autoimmune disorders. I shared what was going on and that I had been told nothing could be done. They told me that I should have never been told that and to rush Roman there quickly.
He’s currently at the Veterinary Care and Speciality Group in Chattanooga. They admitted Roman and has had him since. During his time there he has been given 24 hour care and has a care plan. The treatment for this disorder is to give drugs that will raise the platelet count. The hard part is that most of these treatments take days to "work" or see a noticeable improvement in platelet numbers. Yesterday, they gave him what is known as the Vincristine treatment, which has great results in brining up platelet numbers faster than the prednisone that he's also on.
They called yesterday morning and shared that he was not doing well and to come see him. We rushed there, praying and hoping for a miracle. On the way, they called and said that they would like to do a whole-blood transfusion to give the Vincristine time to work. They were able to bring a dog named Clyde in to get enough blood to do the transfusion. Thank you, Clyde. <3
This morning we received word from the nurses that he was alert today watching them, was eating, his stool was improving, and his bleeding from the nasal passage was drying up. We then heard from the Specialist that Roman's blood test this morning did not show improvement and that his red blood cells were dropping again. He asked if we could do another blood transfusion to give more time for the Vincristine to work. They are also considering adding frozen platelets.
From my research of this disorder, most dogs don't die from ITP, they die from not being able to fund the procedures that buy time to create more platelets. We're already at over $6,500 since this began last week. (Estimated total is $12,000) Update as of 2/9/24 - Total cost is $11,200.
I am trying to do everything that I can to save my boy. If you would like to help me provide these life saving treatments for Roman, it would be so appreciated. Absolutely everything helps!!
Roman's 6th birthday is in 4 days on February 10th, if you feel able and wan't to give in honor of helping him get there it would mean so much. I love him so much.
Above all, PLEASE play for Roman and believe for his healing with us. I know that God cares for His creation and I'm asking and believing for a miracle!
