Help me go to The Dance Theatre of Harlem

Hi, my name is Eliane. I am 14 years old and live on a beautiful small island, St. Maarten. I love to dance, it's my passion and I want to pursue it as my career. I currently dance at a great dance school called the INDISU Dance Theatre of St. Maarten where I take ballet, jazz ballet, and modern classes. I have also taken fusion, hip hop, and tap classes in the past, and I currently assist as a dance instructor's assistant for the younger kids.

Two weeks ago I auditioned for a spot with the Dance Theatre of Harlem's 3-week Summer Intensive program in New York from July 5th- 23rd and I got accepted!! I am really excited and would LOVE to go however, the tuition for classes including in-house residency amounts to $4200 which I will have to pay as early as May/June. This amount is only for the dance part. Living in the Caribbean requires flying to NYC which will be another $500-600. For now though I am only trying to raise as much as possible for the dance school and the fees that are deducted by GoFundMe.

I am also working at my dance school to save as much as I can, but can really use every bit of support to make this step towards my career become a reality. For an island girl like me, this is BIG and I am so grateful for having been accepted and to anyone willing to support me. Dance is my future.
