Help me help Krista: A Story Worth Sharing
Donation protected
“You can be a victim of cancer, or you can be a survivor of cancer.” My aunt, Krista is choosing to be a survivor—and to come out on the other side as a better version of herself.
In July 2024, Krista was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Since then, she’s undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and recently had a major surgery as part of her treatment. Through it all, she’s continued to care for her three kids—Brady, Sydney, and Avery—doing everything she can to keep life as normal as possible for them.
This journey has been incredibly difficult. Between the physical toll of treatment and recovery and the everyday challenges of providing for her family, Krista is carrying more than anyone should have to. Now, as she prepares for another round of chemo, she’s also hoping to create a Christmas where her kids can just be kids.
This fundraiser is here to help ease some of that burden. Donations will go toward her family’s daily needs—groceries, bills, and other essentials—so Krista can focus on her recovery and her kids. And yes, she’ll probably be mad at me for setting this up (we all know she’s stubborn like that), but I think she’ll forgive me when she sees how much love and support she has behind her.
Thank you for standing with Krista—whether it’s through a donation or by sharing her story, it all makes a difference.
