Please, help Peter - temporary housing funds

In 2013—when most of America was treating me like a pariah—a world-renowned photographer named Peter (last name redacted for privacy) reached out to me and explained that he wanted to try to improve my public image by taking flattering portraits of me since the media only printed my most unflattering pictures. Years prior to meeting Peter, he left a high-profile, high-paying career in order to publish truth in journalism, effectively sacrificing his lifestyle for one much simpler. His quest for truth in journalism after my own fight against the billion-dollar mainstream media monster made us fast and strong friends. I was honored when he offered to fly from California to Orlando with his own equipment to assist me in showing the world my humanity at no cost (approx. a $20,000 value). I took him up on the offer. Although he took high-quality photos of me and my rottweiler, Oso, the media chose not to print these images.
Peter and I have been extremely close friends for over 11 years. Not terribly long before these tragic fires, I had recently enjoyed dinner with Peter and his wife at his studio apartment in the Pacific Palisades. Peter is 68 years old and not wealthy. Peter was only able to afford his apartment because he has lived in it for decades and Los Angeles rent control laws. Peter’s entire 1960s-era studio apartment—all of his and his wife’s possessions—were destroyed. If the Pacific Palisades is ever rebuilt, it is unlikely that Peter and his wife will be able to afford to live there again.
Peter and his wife evacuated to Oxnard, CA. Hours after their arrival, a nearby tanker fire caused the sky to fill with smoke, which triggered Peter’s wife to understandably suffer from what I believe to be PTSD. Peter has had to move from Airbnb to Airbnb. Many Airbnb hosts have been taking advantage of victims. While Airbnb is giving fire victims a $1,000 credit, Airbnb hosts have greedily increased their rates by $1,000. There are thousands of people suddenly thrust into homelessness due to the fires in the greater Los Angeles area.
Peter is far too humble to ask for donations; however, I flew out to assist Peter in the initial steps to rebuild his life and handle his wife’s mental health. I know firsthand that funds for continued medical expenses and temporary housing are desperately needed as soon as possible. Peter is a true friend and was my hero in my own time of need. So, I am raising these funds on behalf of Peter and 100% of the funds I receive will be sent to him via Apple Pay so he doesn’t incur processing fees. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated by both Peter, his wife, and me. If you cannot donate, please pray that Peter finds tempered discernment. Thank you very much.
