Help me help those kicking cancer in the arse!
Join me in making a difference, I'm raising money in aid of SUSSEX CANCER FUND and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
In 2024 during my second year of my nursing degree I was diagnosed with cancer in February, I was operated on in March, then told my cancer come had come back in June before undergoing chemo therapy in July resulting in me having to miss out on lectures, placements and shifts at work. I experienced first hand the Sussex Cancer Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton the team who went above and beyond to support me through my Cancer Journey and making the treatments almost bearable. The amazing team of wonderful staff including the receptionists, volunteers, the healthcare assistants, nurses and doctors work tirelessly to provide care to those undergoing chemo therapy with good cheer and a shoulder to cry on when needed.
This year I have decided to do a 12,000ft tandem skydive to raise much needed funds for the Sussex Cancer Centre. The money will go towards buying new equipment such as cold caps, reclining chairs, medical equipment, medical trolleys, warming pads, books to help people process the loss of loved ones, new furniture for the waiting rooms and so much more.
So please help me help continue my journey and to kick cancer in the arse in supporting this fund and others going through their cancer journey.
