Help me hike the 2,190mi Appalachian Trail!

Hello! My name is Cyaira and I am a student of environmental sciences and a lover of the natural world. My entire life has revolved around seeking out the ache in my heart for adventure, but between being a full time student and working to afford my education, I have not been able to do many of the outdoor adventures I’ve dreamt of since I was little. I will graduate from GCSU in December of 2022 (likely magna cum laude) with a BS in Environmental science, two minors in Biology and Geology, and a Sustainability certification. It would be my dream to celebrate my graduation by embarking on the biggest adventure yet, an attempted through hiking of the Appalachian trail! I will be accompanied by two fellow graduates, whom which double as beloved roommates and lifelong friends, and other enthusiastic companions plan to join us for segments during spring and summer breaks. We would start the 2,190 mile journey March 1st 2023 in Georgia, and hopefully finish sometime in September or October in Maine.  Most spend around $5000 for trail food & gear to complete the hike. Any donations to cover initial gear purchases, food, and other expenses are greatly appreciated, and 100% of proceeds will go to this cause <3
