Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

We come to you today with heavy hearts to share the story of our beloved father, Stanley (Stan) Foster, a remarkable man who dedicated his life to service, love, and faith. Our father, a Vietnam Marine War veteran, has passed away. As a community, we now seek your support to give him the dignified and heartfelt farewell he deserves.

Stan was not just a veteran; he was a true man of God. His journey through life was marked by immense courage, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. After bravely serving our country, he spent over 15 years in and out of hospitals battling multiple health conditions, including gout, scoliosis, pneumonia, arthritis, COVID-19, high blood pressure, severe pain, and breathing difficulties. Despite these challenges, he remained optimistic and strong, enduring unbearable pain with grace.

Our father faced life’s toughest battles with a smile and was a beacon of light and hope to everyone who knew him. He tragically lost our mother to brain & breast 

cancer, yet he continued to inspire others with his peaceful, joyful, and humorous nature. His compassion, generosity, and love knew no bounds. He was a caring and devoted father who always put others before himself.

Even while living alone in an elderly home, Dad remained active in the community and dedicated to charitable causes. His kind heart and selfless spirit touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.

His health struggles included enduring eight knee surgeries in seven years, resulting in a titanium knee, and managing over 50 medications daily. Yet, his faith never wavered. He continued to be a pillar of strength and an example of resilience and hope.

Now, we are reaching out to you to help us honor his memory with a proper home going. Our goal is to provide a ceremony that reflects his life’s service, faith, and love. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help us give our father the farewell he deserves.
