Please help me house my rescue pigeons

Donation protected

Hello

Everyone who knows me, and for those who don't I love all animals. On top of caring for my own, I spend a lot of my spare time, and most of my spare money rescuing pigeons at this point I couldn't tell you how many I've helped and been able to release back to their flock or the money I've spent doing so

I up until recently only had 1 pet pigeon of my own ... but I've come across quiet a different situation this time.

A month ago I took on 3 rescues from under solar pannels which I raised from babies so bought a small aviary and kept as my own, and added them with the solo pigeon I already had. Which was fine 4 pigeons was quiet manageable...

Now fast forward a month, I've rescued so far 21 pigeons, who where wired into a roof and left to die, five of which where babies, two eggs (that have now hatched and will be hand raised) and another who was attacked by birds.

My problem now is, I do not have the space to house these birds, if I release them they will return back to where they came from which they are no longer welcome. I have completely depleted my funds on food, worming treatment, mite treatment and fuel going to and from the house to collect the birds.

I'm asking for financial help, to get an enclosure big enough to house these birds. Every avairy is either too big or too small for the space I have at my unit. I can put an enclosure out the front so I've attached the one id like to buy, I will have to buy extra materials to enclose the roof and around the door but it is the most space I can fit, for the amount of birds I now have.

I do not plan on letting these birds breed, I didn't ever plan on having this many pigeons, but as I said I cannot let them die so I will have to keep them.
There are still another 5-10 adults at the house that are apart of this flock that need to be caught as well.

The enclosure (I will attach a picture of) is $592**
from bunnings, I will also other materials to enclose the roof and areas they could escape + sand and pavers for it to sit on. I will attach all photos of things I plan to use and prices as well.

I completely understand some people's views on pigeons, I understand it's not ideal to have them living in your roof but I do not think that is a humane or right way to get rid of them. I understand some people think pigeons are dirty and diseased and some are, but these birds are not.

They're all healthy and have been treated for any type of sickness they could have had or passed on. The way I see it is I'm basically doing a favour by taking them on not letting them breed out of control or just move along to someone else roof, and I'm also not letting them die so it's a win win

I know there are people out there who do love and care about pigeons and I'm hoping these people are able to help me even if it is just by sharing this I greatly appreciate it☺️

I will attach photos of all the birds, the roof they came from and everything else aswell.

Thankyou for reading☺️
