ANYTHING HELPS

Hi, my name is Tarese; I am a mother of one brilliant, beautiful, five-year-old boy named Platinum. This year has been rough for us. We currently need housing, and my dad plans to sell my childhood home that he has owned since 1978. He recently bought a house in Vegas and moved out there. He can't afford to keep paying the mortgage and bills on both houses and has decided that he needs to sell this one. This house is supposed to be passed down to my youngest brother and me. It's so vital that Black people keep equity in the family. It's already so hard for us to buy homes as it is. It's a 3-bedroom home with a backyard, garage and driveway that I have lived in since I was born and came home from the hospital in 1995.
I am currently staying with a friend, sleeping on an air mattress in her living room, and I desperately need my own space. I just got this new job at The Now Massage Spa, but money isn't necessarily flowing in how I need it. I'm in school to become a licensed Massage Therapist and Doula, and it takes 24 hours of my week/weekend, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
I will use my next paychecks and any donations donated to give to my father so that he will not sell the house and my son and I can have stable, comfortable housing. The mortgage is about $2500 a month, which is not a lot for three bedrooms, but I have been struggling financially this year, and I am working on getting on my feet. But I need help now to secure my son's stable, comfortable living environment. I really would love to be able to pay off the mortgage for a couple of months so I can save and become more self-sufficient.
Also, my dad is 67 years old and still works a full-time job and has been paying mortgage and utilities here for seven months and his new home in Vegas. It has been very stressful and financially draining for him to the point where he needs to sell the house. Please help me house my son and keep my childhood home!!
