Help me in foster care!

Friday May 19th it was raining. I found some shelter under a families pergola. Withing a few minutes three other cats were staring at me from the other side of the glass and told their human I was there. She asked me if I was ok and hungry. I said yes, I'm hungry. She came out and gave me fresh water and kibble food. I was very thankful. I ate, drank, rubbed up against her to say thank you and went under her neighbors deck. Saturday the neighbor fed me and I was thankful. Sunday night the lady put food under her pergola for me and I came for dinner, this time I had to ask for help. I cried and let her pet me. I started purring so she picked me up and put me on the couch outside. I purred and the humans talked. The next thing I knew I was in their bathroom with my own box, food, water, and a warm blanket. I slept for almost 24 hours straight. I ate and slept ... Tuesday after looking at me the lady took me to her vet to get my poop tested and chip checked. I have no microchip. She has me posted on all of the sites for lost pets. She is raising money because I have two very bad owies on my back paws. She is taking me to the emergency vet today to get me fixed. I am a rescue and this human is looking for any and all help as she did not see this coming. I probably need surgury on at least on of my paws. I am very skinny but otherwise I am young, very handsome, and so very affectionate. I love to cuddle with the human ladies kids. Thank you for reading my story. Please share to other cat lovers and this human will update everyone on my recovery and progress.

Update 5/23: Today I had small surgery on both hind paws and will be ok. Doc said had I waited later, I may not have made it. I had a fever of 103 and my paws were badly infected. I am on antibiotics and pain meds. Thank you to all who have helped. Please continue to share. Love to you all. -"Boo"

Update 5/26: My paws are recovering well. I am going back to see the doc next week and will get bloodwork done to make sure I am healthy. My fecal came back all negative. That's amazing news. Once I am fully recovered the next step will be to have me "fixed" and chipped whatever that means. The humans say it's no big deal, but I think they're hiding something from me. Thank you again and please keep sharing.
Love "Boo"

Update 6/1: After a successful Lemonade stand by Lila and Killian we were able to get Boo all the vaccinations, toe operation, neuter, meds, microchip, rabies tag, and feline leukemia test. He is on his new bed resting and it will take up to 2 weeks for him to heal fully. Thank you to all of you that are making it easy to care for this baby. My kids are learning valuable life lessons about caring for others, the kindness in others, and working for a cause. This human mom's heart is very full.

Update 6/27: It's been about a month since "Boo" came into our lives. Well, last night I noticed him favoring his front paws and slightly limping. He still has a wound on his left back paw. I took him back to the Animal Care Center in Plainfield and upon X-Rays we found out he has a nail condition on at least 2 feet and probably has it on all 4. It could be because of malnutrition as a kitten and then homeless, or something hereditary. The vet suggested we be proactive and declaw all 4. So that's what we are doing. Unfortunately, that means another surgery and more bills. He will hopefully come back tomorrow morning and I will post an update. Thank you to all following Boo's journey and now he HAS to be an indoor cat forever...
