Help us interview America's last surviving WWII veterans

Tax deductible
My name is Benjamin Mack-Jackson and I'm on an urgent mission to preserve the stories of the Greatest Generation before they are gone forever. Of the 16 million American men and women who served in uniform during WWII, less than 1% are still alive today. That’s fewer than 100,000 survivors. It’s estimated that 150 die every single day. The quest to capture their memories is a literal race against time.

Since starting the WWII Veterans History Project , a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization more than nine years ago, I have interviewed over 250 WWII veterans, capturing untold stories of service and sacrifice. The goal? Educate and inspire future generations to better appreciate the sacrifices made by the greatest generation through documentary films and educational programs.

Right now, I'm doubling down on my efforts to interview as many WWII veterans as possible—before it's too late. But time is literally running out and I can't do this without your support. Your donation will support the WWII Veterans History Project and our efforts to ensure that no story goes left untold. The stakes couldn't be higher.

What Your Donations Will Fund
Travel Costs: Traveling to interview these heroes—whether by car, plane, or train—is expensive, but it’s critical to meet them where they are. Airfare, accommodations, and fuel costs add up quickly, but we believe every story is worth it. Your donation helps us reach veterans across the country and beyond, ensuring no story goes untold.

Documentary Production: We’re creating compelling documentaries and short films to share these stories with the world on our YouTube channel. Your donation helps cover editing and production costs, allowing us to bring these powerful narratives to life and reach audiences globally.

Recording Equipment: High-quality cameras, microphones, and lighting are essential to capture these interviews with clarity and professionalism. Your donation ensures that the veterans’ voices and stories are preserved in vivid detail, creating a lasting record for generations to come.

Educational Efforts: Beyond publishing their stories as documentary films, we’re working to create books, educational programs, and exhibitions that can be used in classrooms, museums, and beyond. These resources ensure that the lessons of WWII remain accessible and engaging for learners of all ages. Your donation helps us promote a deeper understanding of history.

Why It Matters Now
Imagine a world without WWII veterans. Future generations will live in this reality. But we have the chance to ensure their legacy lives on forever. Your donation will help me interview more heroes, produce more documentary films, and educate more people about the importance of these stories. Every dollar raised goes towards this critical mission—interviewing WWII veterans wherever they are and documenting their memories before it’s too late.

I hope you'll support my work to give the past a future, one story at a time.
