Help me keep a roof over mine and my cats' heads.

I'm Drew, and I've been struggling financially for a number of years. I've been dealing with a strange fatigue that will strike without warning at random times of the day, and as such I'm pretty much limited to only working from home, and part time at that. I got laid off in August and my application for EI is still 'under review'. I've been getting some money from Social Development, but it doesn't even fully cover my rent. After many tests, I've been informed that I likely have a mystery brain ailment that has been plaguing southern New Brunswick for a number of years, so it's unlikely that my situation will improve.

I've been selling off some of my excess crud to make ends meet, but December and January aren't good months for selling, and so I'm way behind in all of my bills. Homelessness is looming on the horizon, and the thought of having to give up my cats, Silk and Velvet, is more than I can bear. Without them, I absolutely would not be here today.

Being a guy of a certain age, I find asking for help anathema. But I'm reaching the end of my rope and my options are limited. So, any little bit of help to keep a roof over mine and my kitties' heads and food in our bellies would be greatly appreciated.
