Help me learn unique nursing skills in Belize

My name is Darlene and I’m going to school to become a nurse. This has been a lifelong dream that I’m finally fulfilling. I’m currently a CNA and getting ready to start the technical program of school in the spring. A wonderful opportunity has arisen to travel and learn unique nursing skills in Belize! In January of 2022 I went on a cruise with family and Belize was one of our stops. When visiting this destination I was immediately humbled. I was overwhelmed with the feeling of gratitude for all I take for granted, and yearned for a way to help the amazing people we encountered. This country is extremely poor, however, the people there were so happy, and content with what they did had. When the opportunity to study abroad was presented, I felt as though this was a way I could give back! I would love to be able to help these amazing people while at the same time using skills I already have and building upon them in a very unique and special way. The cost is steep, even with the scholarship that I will be applying for that and praying I am awarded with the funds. I have enclosed high lights of what to expect on this wonderful opportunity to further my education while helping such an amazing country. I need some help to make this a reality.
