Support my grieving family in Gaza

Donation protected
UPDATED: Hi everyone. A while back, I started this fundraiser to support my cousin Osama in leaving Gaza.

Recently, my other cousin Abdullah, Osama’s brother, was martyred. Abdullah was an honourable man who was immensely loved by his family and community. He was known for his kindness, humility, compassion, and especially for his love and devotion to his family, whom he has left behind in Gaza.

Abdullah’s wife and two young girls, like all other Gazans, were already experiencing extreme hardships in accessing basic necessities. Their situation has unfortunately intensified after Abdullah’s loss.

Given the urgency of the situation, I will now use this same fundraiser to support Abdullah's family during these extremely difficult times. Please consider donating or sharing if you can. Thank you to all who have already contributed; it is truly appreciated.

Hello all, I am raising donations on behalf of my cousin Osama Shariff, to help him leave Gaza. Here is his story:

Hello, my name is Osama Shariff. I was born and raised in Gaza and lived here my whole life. Like most people in Gaza, I had big goals, ambitions and dreams to study in university, and work to give back to my community, which I hold so dear to me. I was in my first year of university studying engineering at the Islamic University of Gaza. All of my wishes were shattered overnight, as I witnessed the utter destruction of my home, school, neighbourhood, and eventually, the entirety of the Gaza Strip.

The cover picture of this fundraiser shows what my university now looks like. A place built for enlightening and educating students, to create a better future for their community, city and world at large, instantly destroyed to mere rubble and dust.

I now cannot pursue my dream of continuing my higher education in Gaza. I never considered the thought of travelling abroad, whether the reason be for my studies or living elsewhere, because I always liked my life in Gaza. I liked my house, my school, my hometown. But now, my life in Gaza has stopped, and I must consider other options.

Please consider supporting me in my ability to travel abroad to continue with my studies. Any amount is greatly appreciated. May Allah reward your generosity and kindness.
