I am Youssef Ibrahim Abu Harb from Gaza City (Jabalia Camp) in the northern Gaza Strip. I am married, 49 years old, and I suffer from a severe motor disability (Monoplegia) since my birth I have a beautiful, happy family that fills me with kindness and takes care of me. We had a beautiful house for me, my wife, and my four children, where we, my wife, and my children were able to settle after suffering with the construction and the cost, which my father and brothers helped me with. These are some pictures of my house.

Shaima Abu Harb, 20 years old Abdullah Abu Harb, 18 years old, Shahad Abu Harb, 12 years old When the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, our region was subjected to severe bombing in the first months of the war, and two weeks after the war began. Due to the intensity of the bombing and the destruction of most of the homes neighboring us, we were forced to flee our home, and my family and I were displaced and took refuge in UNRWA schools in the Jabalia camp under Violent bombing, there is no place for us to go and take shelter except schools. The conditions of displacement were harsh and difficult for me as a person with special needs. I have difficulty moving and walking and I cannot walk without an artificial limb, as it is the only thing that helps me move.

After we were displaced to schools, I learned that my house was bombed and completely destroyed by bombs, which made it difficult to return and live in it. After that, the Israeli army asked the people in northern Gaza to evacuate and head to the southern Gaza Valley. My family and I went through difficult circumstances as a result of the evacuation process. Because of my reluctance to evacuate, I did not know how I could walk a distance of 30 km on foot from north to south Gaza. I could not move quickly because of my disability and I have children. My heart was trembling in fear. On them and I was afraid of losing them

Because of the poor living conditions and difficult conditions in northern Gaza, the violent bombing, the lack of food and drink, and the barbaric bombing of civilians, I decided to go to the south and search for a solution. I didn't know where I could go. I had no money and we had no source of income for me and my children. I cannot work because of my disability. I decided to look for a wheelchair, as it was the only thing I could travel with because there were no cars available. The Israeli army provided car transportation After a month had passed, and after a lot of struggle, I was able to get a wheelchair from a kind-hearted family in northern Gaza, and we decided to leave. All of those remaining in school, me, my family, my mother, my brothers, their children, and other people, walked in groups on foot from the north of the Gaza Strip to its south.

But thanks to God, God saved us. That's when we decided to flee south. We fled to the south of the valley, where we headed to the agency’s schools in the city of (Nuseirat) after enduring great suffering from checkpoints and shooting at us. I stayed with my family inside the school. The conditions in the school were not suitable for me. There were no walls to lean on and no suitable bathroom. I suffered a lot and got sick as all my family members suffered from influenza, intestinal diseases and hepatitis A due to the lack of good food and clean water.

The war affected me greatly, as well as my health condition. The war came and destroyed all the dreams and aspirations of me and my family, including our warm home that we had built with difficulty for five years, and my father and brothers had arranged everything for me and my family, including a suitable bathroom prepared for a person with special needs. . I hope everyone can help me so that I can temporarily escape from this barbaric war to Egypt, because I need medical treatment with a specialist due to the shortage of specialized doctors,. Please help me keep myself and my children safe, continue my life, realize my dream, and rebuild my family and me back to our normal lives. I hope you will help me and donate to me, even a small amount, because this will make a difference. Only your help will protect me and my family. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for donating and for reading my story.

I hope to live a beautiful and normal life like everyone else. My family and I If you can't help, please share the link with your friends to help." The money you contribute will achieve: 1- Covering the high costs of safe passage to Egypt. The vast majority of the money will be used for this purpose, knowing that the cost of going to Egypt per person ranges between 5,000 and 6,000 dollars, and my family consists of 6. I have absolutely nothing: no home and no source of livelihood. 2- Preparing the family with a temporary place to reside in Egypt, while the best path forward is determined for them. We need to rent a house and costs for eating and drinking. 3- The costs of treatment and visits to specialist doctors, in addition to providing a suitable environment prepared for my health condition
