Help required for paying the water damage bill

Hi Everyone,

I am Jashanjeet, a Ph.D. student at South Dakota State University, SD. I am in my final year of my Ph.D. and preparing for my final defense. Under all these circumstances, recently an unfortunate incident has occurred. Let me explain the situation.

I am living on a rented apartment outside the university premises. This apartment washroom has no exhaust in it. In order to have proper ventilation, I opened up the window and forgot to close it before leaving for a vacation. Due to the harsh winter season, a winter storm led to bursting out the water pipes that destroyed everything in mine as well as the adjoining apartment, while I was away. 

Since I don't have renters insurance, I have to pay for all the repairs and labor which sums up to $7463. All the bills are attached to this post for your reference. 

Being a graduate student, I am unable to pay this huge amount. Would you be willing to make a contribution to my fundraiser? A gift of any amount would mean the world to me.
