Hello, my name is Caledonia McInnes.

I am an aspiring eighteen-year-old writer with dreams of becoming an author. Being a young woman with student loans, I do not have the funds to independently go through the publishing process.

I have written a poetry book that I am incredibly passionate about. Hiring a professional editor, designer and publisher is costly. I need about $3000 to get my project moving. Your support is highly appreciated and will be going to a place of pride, dedication and hard work.

This is more than just a collection of poetry. It is a representation of my journey through healing.

My book is called The Garden of Healing and is about the acceptance, pain and recovery through trauma, abuse, mental illness and body image.

I hope this book aids others through their healing process with the art of poetry.
