Hello, my name is Ahmad Alhusaini, I ran a fundraising campaign for my brother-in-law’s family .

We are asking for donations for the family (last name Abu Shaaban) to escape from the horrors of this deadly war. They sent me this message that I want to deliver to you:

This may be our last chance because every day we are alive is a miracle. All roads have been closed. There is no safe place, even the hospitals where we go to treat our wounds and even the graves in which we bury our dead. Here, there's no refuge from death. We currently live in a tent made of blanket fabric that does not protect from the heat of the sun or the cold of winter, from snakes or poisonous scorpions. We are afraid that winter will come upon us while we are in this tent.

With your support, we can be free from humiliation, fear, destruction and death.

Your donations will help us escape to safety. The amount required to evacuate my family is: 50,000 euros, distributed as follows: 35,000 thousand euros for Hala’s services. Hala Company is a tourism company responsible for transporting aid to Gaza, and has ties to the Egyptian government. It is the only remaining hope for the Palestinians to survive the massacre and destruction occurring in the Gaza Strip.

Hala organisation will coordinate the exit from Gaza to Egypt for eight individuals (six adults for €5,000 each and two children for €2,500 each). The remaining amount of 15,000 euros will be to cover rent, living expenses, and resettlement of my family for several months in Egypt. This also includes the GoFundMe campaign fee of approximately (3%).
