Help Me Rebuild My Parents Home
Donation protected
Hello everyone!
My parents recently lost their home to a forest fire in Santa Cruz County. They were only able to make it out with their lives, their 4 dogs, and a cat because the fire took a sudden turn for the worst as winds started to pick up and they ran out of time. Nothing else survived.
As their daughter, I will be helping them start from scratch just as they have always helped me out, but I will need some help.
To rebuild my parents' home will be a $250,000+ project, but I am only asking to donate whatever you comfortably can.
The money will go to the following:
--finding my parents a temporary home (they are currently living in a hotel with nowhere else to go)
--a new truck (their truck burned in the fire)
--new clothes
--new chainsaws (trees are covering the roads to their property)
--food and shelter for the dogs and cat
--materials to build the house
I would like to get my parents out of hotels and the dogs out of shelters as soon as possible. I'm hoping that within the next few months we can get started on clearing the ashes and starting the foundation to helping my parents live their life again.
My parents have worked so hard to raise me, my brother, and my sisters, even through the toughest of times and I have no idea where we would all be without them.
I myself will be working extra hours and picking up side hustles to add to the pile and would greatly appreciate all the help I can get. Help me end this year on a good note and let's build a new house for my loving, caring, and strong parents.
Thank you all for your love and support!
Lots of hugs,
Tuliyani
P.S. For the "gratuity" part of GoFundMe at checkout, you can select “Other” and put $1 or whatever you feel. It DOES NOT have to be a percentage. It is totally up to you.
Also, if you would much rather directly send money to my parents, my mom's Venmo is @edwina-escalante
Thank you!
