Your Help is needed, Knife Attack Recovery

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

On February 3rd, 2020, my life was forever altered when I became the victim of a heinous knife attack. The blade pierced my chest, just below my heart, leaving me with multiple life-threatening injuries. Miraculously, I survived, but the physical wounds were only the beginning of my journey.

As I struggled to heal from the trauma of the attack, I found myself facing an even greater battle – the silent assailant of mental illness. Severe PTSD, Bipolar 1 with Depression, and Adult Autism (on the spectrum) became my new adversaries, threatening to consume me from within.

Now, I'm reaching out to you in my time of need. Despite my resilience, the weight of my mental health struggles has become overwhelming. While I await the processing of my disability benefits, I find myself in a precarious situation – fighting to keep a roof over my head, the lights on, and food on the table.

I humbly ask for your support to help me weather this storm. Your generosity, no matter how small, can make a world of difference in my life. Your donation will provide me with the stability and security I desperately need as I navigate the challenges of mental illness and recovery.

Every penny contributed will go towards ensuring that I can afford the basic necessities of life while I continue to undergo therapy and work closely with my psychiatrist. Though I face this uphill battle with optimism, I am also filled with fear and emotional exhaustion from the trials I've endured over the past four years.

To my dear family, friends, and community, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for standing by me during this darkest chapter of my life. Your unwavering support has been a beacon of hope in my darkest hours.

To those who may be hearing my story for the first time, I thank you for taking the time to read and consider supporting me in my time of need. Your kindness and compassion mean more to me than words can express.

With humility and gratitude,

Ryan-
