Help me replace my stolen camera gear

Hey there, I’m a 25 year old photographer based in NS focusing primarily on weddings. Last week all my camera gear was stolen from my car. I was mid moving to a new apartment and didn’t realize I hadn’t brought my camera stuff in yet and then it was all gone. Everything - lenses, batteries (over $1000 in batteries alone), dozens of sd cards, two canon 5D camera bodies, three flashes, 2 film cameras, chargers, and other related items as well as sentimental ‘good luck charms’ that of course can never be replaced. I had neatly put it all together for the move, which unfortunately means that it was all very easy to grab probably very quickly. Insurance isn’t working out, and I haven’t heard anything after reporting this to police. It took me years to get my gear to this point and then suddenly it’s gone.

Asking for help this way is scary, but honestly I just need help! I also want to acknowledge that there are so many big things happening in the world that deserve attention and donations, so thank you so much for caring about mine. I've seen the impact of a photo time and time again. Photography is my whole world, it’s a career I’ve been building since I was 17, it’s everything to me. It’s my whole heart and it’s also how I pay my bills! The goal I’ve set doesn’t account for it all, but just enough to get going again. I had so many dreams for this year that I wanna make happen for me and others.

Every person who donates will be given a 10% off discount credit for any booking they wish to make with me in the future (yes, I’ll include weddings!). I’ll also randomly select 3 people on June 3rd to receive a gift.

1st gift: An hour long photoshoot with 30 images and a year of FREE sugaring with Faith via Fauna Sugaring

2nd: A 30 minute shoot including 15 images and a $100 gift card to Fauna Sugaring

3rd: A mix of 3 photo prints or artwork done by me (Ashley) of your choosing and a $60 gift card to Fauna Sugaring
