Important: In case we are subjected to bombardment and my family, and I lose our lives, this money will go to help the poor in Gaza.
Greetings everyone,
My name is Alaa Ayad, a resident of Gaza, and I find myself compelled to share the heartbreaking tale of my family's plight. We've been ruthlessly deprived of the most fundamental human rights, and every ounce of hope within us has withered away like a fragile flower in the relentless storm. Our dreams, health, futures, and lives have crumbled amidst the ceaseless barrage of rockets that ominously surround us, leaving us perpetually on the brink of despair, uncertain if the next explosion will herald our final moments. The Israeli occupation has callously torn through our lives, displacing us seven times, reducing our homes to ashes, looting our possessions, and leaving us in a desolate state of despair.
For over a decade, I've called Gaza home, surviving through five previous Israeli aggressions before this current, blood-drenched war. Since the onset of the latest attack after the 7th of October, my family and I have been uprooted seven times, desperately seeking refuge from one corner of Gaza to another. From Gaza City to Khan Younis, and now in Rafah – the southernmost area of the Gaza Strip – we find ourselves grappling with dire circumstances, devoid of the most basic necessities like food, clean water, and warmth during these bitterly cold days. The situation grows increasingly critical with the relentless spread of diseases, scarcity of essential needs, and the constant threat of bombardment that surrounds us, leaving nowhere safe in Gaza – a harsh reality affirmed by the United Nations.
Both my big sister and my sister-in-law had been pregnant. They had to endure constant displacement and unspeakable horrors on top of pregnancy discomforts. The few times I was able to reach my sister, she would keep praying not to go into labor before that nightmarish reality ended. My other sister has 3 children Jana, Osama, Anas. and a daughter. I love everything about Gaza.
My Cousin's story:
Please help us to arrange to get my cousin Mohammed aged 14 who has Downs Syndrome and the rest of his family out of Gaza!
Because Mohammed has Downs Syndrome, he is especially vulnerable during Israeli bombardments because the noise panics him so much that he can’t breathe, speak, or communicate.
During heavy bombing near our house in Gaza district, Mohammed's heart stopped three times, and my parents had to perform artificial resuscitation on him to save his life.
A child, like the rest of the children in the world, has the right to live in a calm and beautiful environment free of wars, genocides and problems. We hope that God will remove this grief so that Mohammed's life can return to normal again and that the child Mohammed, who has a kind and caring heart, can return to sharing his daily routine and the details of his life with his friends.
Every donation, no matter how small, is a huge help - thank you so much for your kindness.
Amidst the anguish, I cling to a dream shared by many – to become a successful dentist and establish my own dental clinic. As a senior dental student at Al-Azhar University, my dreams suffered a devastating blow as my college was bombed at the onset of the war.
The loss of cherished friends and loved ones only adds to the weight of my grief, yet my spirit remains unbroken, fueled by an unwavering determination to complete my dental medicine degree outside Gaza.
However, escaping from Rafah to continue my final academic year comes at a staggering cost, ranging between $7000 to $10000 per person for my immediate family of five.
My home, a sanctuary shattered by the Israeli occupation, lies in ruins. It feels like every time I believe we've reached the nadir of our misfortune, we are cruelly confronted with the bitter reality of an even grimmer situation.

Amidst pervasive disappointment, pain, and a deluge of bad news, I turn to Allah as my last resort, seeking solace and assistance. It is with a heavy heart that I reach out for help, realizing the magnitude of our desperation.
Your support is not merely a financial contribution; it is a lifeline amidst the tempest of despair. By aiding me in resurrecting my shattered dreams and rebuilding the remnants of my home, you become a beacon of positive change in these tumultuous times. My commitment to endure in Gaza, face adversity, and strive for a brighter future is unwavering. Each donation, regardless of its size, represents a glimmer of hope. Your generosity will directly fund my college fees, provide temporary sanctuary for my family in Egypt, contribute to the reconstruction of my home, facilitate my ongoing education, and eventually, help me open the dental clinic of my dreams. It is about laying the foundation for a life reborn from the ashes.
The funds gathered will be carefully allocated for the following purposes:
1. Acquiring Building Materials: Obtaining the essential materials required for the reconstruction of a resilient and secure home.
2. Covering Labor Expenses: Engaging skilled labor to guarantee meticulous and careful execution of the reconstruction process.
3. Ensuring Vital Utilities: Installing crucial utilities like water and electricity toestablish a fully functional and habitable dwelling.
4. Furnishing and Comfort: Suppying necessary amenities and furnishings to restorethe house to its former state of warmth and comfort.
The destruction may be overwhelming, but with your support, we can turn despair into determination. Your generosity can transform the narrative from one of loss to a story of resilience, unity, and the power of community.
Please join me on this journey to rebuild not just a house but a home filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
Your support transcends the financial; it is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the compassionate connections that bind us all.
