Please help me treat and save Legend!

My friends and family, please consider helping me treat and save my big boy Legend.

When I returned home from Costa Rica on May 30, it was to find all three of my dogs sick. Taking them to / from my Vet, they were misdiagnosed from being stressed because I was gone, to an extreme gastric episode, to them possibly having parasites. They have been sick for the past month 1/2. Although all three of the dogs exhibited the same symptoms, I noticed Legend seemed off, almost like a different dog. On July 13th, I took him back the Vet after finding a marble size lump on his arm.

Initial testing, and an x-ray showed that Legend had abnormal cells in his blood, a couple of nodules on his lungs, a mass on his shoulder and an enlarged spleen. After being sick for so long, my Vet believed that Legend had cancer and she gave him 2 to 3 weeks to live. Devastated and shocked, I asked her for a referral to get a second opinion.

Legend’s 1st prognosis from a pathologist came back as him having a reactive lymph node. We celebrated! The internal medicine specialist ran additional tests and then gave him an ultrasound. The blood test they completed in house showed Legend was positive for Ehrlichia. Ehrlichoais is a disease that develops in dogs after being bit by an infected brown dog tick. Due to a window of contagiousness, the specialist will now be testing Luna and Shiloh for this tick disease as well. This would explain the timeframe when they were all sick at the same time.

Today, I received Legend’s 2nd prognosis. The pathology report came back as Lymphoma. Their immediate recommendation is to remove the lump on his arm and treat his Ehrlichia. All results are being sent to an oncologist.
