Help Me Serve: Moving for My OBGYN Residency
Donation protected
I’m incredibly proud to have matched into my dream OBGYN residency program. This moment culminates a lifelong journey fueled by resilience, purpose, and sacrifice.
My mother always said, “Cuando me vaya, lo único que les dejaré será su educación” — when I leave, the only thing I will leave behind is your education. Her words guided me through every hurdle and moment of uncertainty. This dream is not only mine—it is hers and belongs to everyone who has stood alongside me.
Now, I face another hurdle before starting residency: the cost of moving across the country. As a DACA recipient, I’m not eligible for traditional medical residency relocation loans. With limited financial options, I’m seeking support to ease this transition—housing, transportation, and basic needs to hit the ground running.
If you can give, I’m deeply grateful. If you can share this or send words of encouragement, that means the world, too. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Please see the link above to my personal statement for residency candidacy and why I chose OBGYN as a lifelong career.
