Friends and Family,

Many of you know I have a deep love of caring for and teaching young children. My love for children is exemplified in my dream of becoming an elementary school teacher, my time serving in the kids' ministry at Antioch Waco Church, and nannying for many families back at home in Alamo Heights. Last year, I applied to go on my very first mission trip which will be after graduation in May with Baylor Missions. In December I found out I was accepted to be a part of the team for the mission trip! On this mission trip, we will go to the Dominican Republic and work with the orphanage One More Child. During our time working in the orphanage, we will be caring for the children as well as assisting local physicians in helping the children receive the proper medical care they need. While serving in DR, not only will I grow my relationship with God but I will also get to share my love for the Lord and the Word with others!

The funds that are raised will be used to pay for me to go on the mission trip! For everyone who donates, I have designed and made buttons and will mail them to you as a thank-you for helping me be able to serve in the Dominican Republic! If you can't donate, prayers for the trip and team members are also deeply appreciated!
