Help me show Tina some love

Several of us have had that one friend that always has that smile, that laugh and the energy that gets us through whatever it is that we are going through. For me that friend is Tina.

I met Tina years ago when I was invited to brunch by a mutual friend. This brunch was hosted and made complete by Tina's constant sense of pride in bringing friends together if only for any hour to laugh, drink and enjoy each other's company. Every Saturday until this past Saturday, January the 8th when the fun took a deep pause. It was then that Tina had a stroke that led to a hospitalization. Since then she has been released and is undergoing the trials and tribulations of navigating the world of insurance and doctors visits, new prescription medications and physical therapy. All things that are very new to her and quite intimidating.

For those of you that know Tina, as many do, she works in the hospitality industry and at the time of this unfortunate event she did not have health insurance. Luckily she was set up with insurance prior to her discharge however this does not cover the bills and time that Tina lost from her many supportive friends that she didn't dare let go thirsty while she was at Leons.

Please join me in assisting Tina in this time of need so that we can get her back where she belongs and admire that tenacious, spirited personality once again. Any and all support is greatly appreciated.
