Help Me Study Acting Abroad!

Hi friends and family! This is Zoe Nauman, writing to you about an amazing opportunity I have that I would love your support with! I am fundraising to attend a 3-week Shakespeare Intensive at the Prague Shakespeare Company in Prague, Czech Republic. As a second-year drama B.A. student and creative writing minor at the University of California Irvine, studying theatre is a full-time focus for me. I have been training since a young age, and have performed in several Shakespeare plays in Northern California. I am currently performing in UCI’s mainstage production of “Romeo and Juliet” as an Ensemble member (1st Watchman, Citizen, Rosaline), directed by Andrew Borba, and worked as fight captain with Gregory Hoffman.
I will be attending the PSC intensive from December 19-January 6th. Outside of 9 am -5 pm Monday through Friday classical theatre training classes, Master Classes, and rehearsals, I will also get to immerse myself in the theatre culture of the area. Additionally, this opportunity will allow me to perform with the National Theatre of the Czech Republic in their 2022-2023 season.
With two Shakespeare geeks and teachers for parents, the words of the Bard have always been a part of my theatre education and experience, and I am immensely looking forward to furthering my knowledge and skills in the area of classical theatre.
To all friends and family, any donations to support this opportunity would be enormously appreciated. I have received a partial scholarship for housing, but I would love some support to help cover the costs of the program and flights. This opportunity would be an incredible experience to study internationally while continuing my education as a drama student! Thank you all for your contributions!
