Help me to be a cast member in NYMTs Carmilla Workshop!

Hello my name is Iris Stephens and I am currently fundraising so I am able to train with The National Youth Music Theatre.

N.Y.M.T is an incredibly famous and highly regarded institution, it is internationally recognised for offering the highest quality music theatre opportunities and experiences for children and young people from all backgrounds. It’s alumni include:

-12 Olivier award winners & 15 nominees

-5 BAFTA winners & 9 nominees

-1 Tony award winner & 2 nominees

-3 Golden Globe winners & 7 nominees

-1 Oscar award winner & 5 nominees

so it is truly an amazing opportunity.

After doing 2 successful rounds of auditions, I was offered a place as a cast member for a new workshop musical, Carmilla, currently being written and composed by Eden Tredwell. Taking part in this new musical workshop is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside the composer and writer in the development of brand-new music theatre, while at the same time further developing my own skills under the guidance of industry professionals.

The musical is based on the 1872 novella, this is a modern grunge-pop-rock reimagining of the original vampire tale.

The residential takes place in the summer holidays from Sunday 27 July – Friday 1 August at The King’s School, Canterbury which is one of the most prestigious private schools in the country!

In total, this will cost me £1000. And needs to be payed in instalments.

Instalment 1, by 28 February: A non-refundable deposit of £450 to secure my place

Instalment 2, by 30 April: £250

Instalment 3, by 11 July: £200

I believe this is an achievable amount to raise, and any help you may give me I would be eternally grateful and thankful for. This will help me with my dream of going to drama school and perusing musical theatre professionally, and would look great on my CV when applying.
