Help my Sister Reem, and 4 of her kids to survive

Donation protected
Hello, I am Sahar. I recently left Gaza, and I am now settled in Belgium. I am carrying out this campaign on behalf of my sister Reem, who is still displaced in southern G-a-z-a with her children and her newborn baby.

Here is Reem's Story

Hello, I am Reem, a mother of 4 children: Miriam, 8 years old, Abdel Azim, 6 years old, Ali, 4 years old, and Eid, who is a month old. My husband's name is Mahmoud.
Today I am writing to you, with my heart full of sadness and grief over the situation we have reached in this genocide. I hope for support and assistance to give my kids some basic living necessities, all of which we lost in the war and we no longer have any source of income

These are My Kids Miriam, Abd, and Ali

Miriam is supposed to be at her school in the second grade of primary school, playing with her friends. Study her lessons, but now she lives in tents without the minimum necessities of life, playing the role of a big sister and taking care of her brothers.

This is Abdul Azim, 6 years old, a curious child who loves to play a lot. He Wants to be a police man when he grow up.

Ali, the supposedly calm and beautiful child, This year was supposed to be his first year in kindergarten.

This is my New Baby Eid

We evacuated our house located in the Salah al-Din area in the Gaza Valley from the first day, because our house is surrounded by agricultural land, and it is one of the areas most exposed to bombing. We went to my family's house in Gaza City. On October 13, news came of the evacuation of the entire northern region. My family was displaced to the south, but as for me, my husband did not agree for us to move to the south because we did not have any place there and we did not expect that the entire area would be invaded. We went to his brother's house in the old city of Gaza City, and I was five months pregnant.

We remained in the northern Gaza Strip, and the situation became worse every day with belts of fire around us in all directions. We lived through horrific nights. We used to say this was our last night alive. When the ground operation began, the army began to approach the area. They set up roadblocks on the roads, and signs of famine began to appear in the north. We decided to take the risk and head to the south, because I was pregnant, needed food, and had children. We went to the south on foot. We walked for about 3 hours with my children. I saw the atrocities on my way south, corpses strewn in the streets,

We went to the south in Khan Yunis to my family. We were 25 members in a small house with two rooms. We stayed there for 3 months, I entered my eighth month of pregnancy. I was very afraid that the due date would come while the war was continuing. Then, one night, we found ourselves surrounded by tanks around us in Khan Yunis. We were able to escape again to Rafah. We walked a long distance until we reached the Al-Mawasi area, Rafah. We are living in tents. I was praying that the war would end before my due date came.

We lived in tents, and I was pregnant in my last months. The tent was very cold. It was the beginning of winter, and my children became homeless and sick. My due date came and I gave birth to my beautiful baby, whom we named Eid. Now Eid is a month old, we live in a very hot tent during the day. These days, Eid always crying because of the extreme heat. I try to ventilate him by any possible means, but to no avail. We suffer from a lack of medicine and a lack of a clean environment. The place is full of insects. I fear for my Baby because his immunity is still weak.

My husband lost his business and his lands. We had olive and grape lands, and we had a chicken farm. We lost everything. We had two houses, an apartment in which I lived and another independent house with a beautiful garden Its Construction was about to be completed. Unfortunately, there is no longer any house for us. They have been completely demolished, because they are located in the area that the occupation now controls at Wadi Gaza and they set up their tents above our house.
