Help me to open my micro coffee roastery

Oh hi!

My name is Vivien, and I am fundraising to fuel my passion project and open my micro coffee roastery.

I worked as a coffee roaster and green coffee everythinger until COVID, when the midst of the unknown made me burn out of the profession I loved.

Being in lockdown soon led me back to university, where I finished my degree this year. That was something I wanted to do for a long time (and started it many times before) and now that I have achieved that this summer, I found myself yearning for something to create and put my heart into.

My main goal is not to build a coffee empire, just to go back to what I always enjoyed the most: sourcing and roasting coffees I love.

Having lived in different parts of the world working in coffee, I would like to bring back the experience of creating something small and special that brings me joy and lets me enjoy the flow while doing so.

I found myself in Frome in Somerset, and the support for small business in the community is inspiring, but still missing a coffee roaster, and I would love to fill that void! :)

One of the thing I love is organizing coffee cuppings and getting together to taste some interesting coffees with the local community.

Travelling and living and trying new coffees in Central America and working in roasteries in different countries gave me the experience to select out fun and interesting coffees, supporting small coffee farmers.

This business would also allow me to start thinking about my further education and fuel that.

This would be to buy my coffee roaster, the first batch of green coffee and all necessary packaging.

I am aware that the cost of living is rising, and we are living in difficult times, but if you are in a position to donate, I would be grateful!
