Help Rescue Emaciated and Sickly Stray Cat
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Maya and on Sunday (6/30) I found an emaciated, sickly stray cat in the field of Oceana High School. I brought him home, pulled 30 ticks and 100s of fleas off of him in the bath, gave him fluids as he was severely dehydrated, and small frequent meals as he was starved. He has since been doing better each day, and has a real appreciation for life.
I sadly cannot keep him due to my own animals and not being able to afford it. However, I would like to raise some funds for his veterinary care while I have him and any remaining funds will be transferred to his future adopters to help continue his care.
As of right now, he is still emaciated and having diarrhea so I am cooking him chicken and rice at home and hoping to do some tests to make sure he doesn’t have an underlying disease (such as IBS). I would like to get him on a prescription diet while I have him but cannot afford it myself.
I have never collected donations for any animal but any amount donated will be greatly appreciated. I will continue to update this posting with how he is doing and when he gets adopted. If you are interested in adopting him, please reach out to me.
thank you all for your time!
