Help me to rescue my little angel’s future .

Each one of us has a story, a dream, a home, and a family. After much hesitation, I have decided to share with you my story and dreams, which were destroyed and stolen from me unjustly. As a mother, I also have to think about my little child who has just turned one year old during the war.

I am Dr. Sara Ibraheem Al-aqqad , 27 years old, married to Dr. Saddam Hussein Abu Owda. As a Palestinian from Gaza, this war destroyed my dreams, erased a part of my youth, and took away my lifelong companion, my lovely childhood friend, Reem and a part of her family, my uncle and my aunt.
I was diligent and passionate about my studies, excelling in high school and then attending medical school. I graduated to pursue my medical career and specialize in pediatrics, a field I've always loved.

During my studies, fate brought me together with my husband, and starting our life together wasn't easy. The costs of marriage were a major obstacle for any determined Palestinian youth striving to build a family. After much time and effort, we managed to marry and build a home where we poured our love and care into every corner. Then came that cursed war.

This is a part of my home after the adjacent house was bombed. This is where my child used to play before we left the house shortly before the bombing. I can't imagine what would have happened if we were still inside the house!

We were still paying installments from my husband's modest salary, which was a great help in stabilizing our living conditions. Can you imagine how content we were with the simplest means and how happy?
Then I also found job opportunities, which provided us with a very good social status, further stabilizing our lives. We had been in our home for less than two years, so everything was still new!
Our journey with our little child moving from place to place continued, while my husband continued his work until the very last moments at Nasser Hospital. Every time he went to work, my heart broke for him, but it was our duty to our country and our people.

We escaped death many times and lived in conditions no human mind could bear. Instead of my little child starting his life in a warm home, playing, and enjoying peace and safety, and having his basic rights like clean water and healthy food, I had to flee with him from one place to another, subjecting him to a polluted environment, which often caused him numerous illnesses. What was his fault?
We went days without milk, diapers, or clean water. I didn't care for myself; all my thoughts were only about this little one.
Winter came with its bitter cold, without enough clothes or even warm shoes due to the absence of clothes in the markets. A child less than a year old had to eat foods beyond his age just to survive.

After 150 days of war, suffering, humiliation, and losing my home and my family's home, we managed to escape, me, my family, and my little child, to Egypt after several attempts. My heart remained with my husband, who stayed in Gaza. He joined me a month later, and his escape cost us everything we had, $5000! This amount was not easy, and we were also helped by friends.
Now, yes, we are in Egypt as a family, but we fled from death to the unknown, without a source of income or work to help us with the high cost of living, facing my little child, whom I hope for a better future and a dignified life like other children.
I have decided to launch this campaign to continue mine and my husband's medical specialization studies, which requires us to leave Egypt and join another country. We now need to cover living expenses, housing, food, clothing, and transportation costs to another country. Today, I appeal to our brothers and sisters in humanity to lend us a helping hand to save the future of doctors and families. No matter how much you donate, it will make a huge difference to us, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
