Help me to spend time with my terminally ill mum.

This is my mum. She’s beautiful, funny and my world. She has terminal cancer. She’s a stranger to you, but she is everything to me, my sister and my dad. My husband and I don’t live nearby to visit regularly, and with prices skyrocketing for fuel and day to day living, we just can’t afford to go and spend some much needed time with my mum.

We would love to move down there to be with my family for as long as possible and be able to help mum when she needs it, but need help. Lockdown drained us of everything, and although we work hard everyday, it’s not enough to make a difference with prices going up.

We need funds immediately. We don’t know how much time we have and I’m inconsolable and being at work is a torture.

I can’t fully express the desperation I feel at the moment. My mum is only 63 and is fit and healthy. How did this happen??

I need to be with her. Everyday that passes I’m missing days of her life that I will never get back. I’m missing seeing her face and hearing her laugh, or just watching her cook.

What can you do??

I know that there are a lot of worthy causes to give money too, but I can’t express how much it’d mean if you could help me reach this goal to help us pack up everything and to live closer to them, or if that’s not possible, as least allow us to afford to take some time off so we can be with her until the end. I just want to be with my mum.
