Help me to survive in GAZA !

Hello,

My name is Doha Mouafaq Al Kahlout, I am 27 years old and I am from Gaza, the city of despair and hopelessness. It has been six months since I have fled and lost my home and my room which used to hold all details of my life. I worked more than two years writing scripts and studying the Arabic language. I have put all my efforts in building my own future, a future in which my dreams and ambition would be fulfilled. And it was worth it. I have succeeded in my work and I was about to reach the first stage towards my professional and personal fulfillment.

In my mind Gaza has always been a source of inspiration, dreams and bearings despite the hard living conditions there. But since the 7th of Octobre, we are living in a nightmare and I have lost the meaning of life. I lost my job from the first day of this war and after a week I lost my home. We found shelter in a place we share with more than 120 people. My family suffered the loss of 10 of its members. I am currently living with my mother and father as well as with 3 of my siblings in the middle of the Gaza Strip. Two of my other siblings remained in the North of the Gaza Strip where they suffer from hunger and live under a siege. And the two last ones are currently in the South. Since more than 160 days we completely lost touch with them and thereby I have lost the meaning of family. I have also lost everything I owned thanks to my hard work. What remained with me, I sold it in order to buy food and provide for my family.

The loss has no end and more than everything else, I have started loosing myself. I have spent years looking for myself, trying to understand who I am and what my place in this world is. But when I finally found myself and knew how I wanted to live my life everything around me just collapsed. I now live in worry and I am not hopeful that I will be able to live the same life after this.

Still, the nightmare I am living in will not dent my strength and determination. Your help will help me find my way back to life and allow me not to lose hope. I am first looking for survival in order then to be able to recover my life. Any help from any kind from you will contribute to save what is left to save. I thank you.
