Hello, everyone. My name is Yazan Al Moghrabi, and at the tender age of 18, I find myself in a relentless fight against a brain tumor. This challenge, though daunting, is one that many families face, holding onto the belief in brighter, more hopeful days ahead. Yet, the struggle takes on a different dimension when you're from Gaza. The war has decimated our hospitals and medical facilities, leaving those of us with serious, long-term illnesses without the essential care we desperately need. Despite undergoing surgery that resulted in facial paralysis, my journey towards healing is far from over. I am in dire need of further treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which are simply not available in Gaza. My family has been uprooted from our home in Gaza, seeking refuge in the south. We now find solace within the walls of EGH Hospital, as the place we once called home lies in ruins. In the face of this adversity, my deepest wish is to ensure the safety of my loved ones by evacuating them with me, a journey that demands a significant financial sacrifice.
