A single mother, her two children, and elderly parents are trapped in danger.
Your help today could save our family's lives.
We are a family of five: a single mother, her two young children, and my elderly parents, both of whom are seriously ill. My father suffers from dangerously high blood pressure, and my mother has diabetes, hypertension, and has survived several near-fatal blood clots in her lungs. My two little children are also often sick due to the unsafe and polluted conditions around us.
We have already lost more than four homes during this war, which has now lasted 718 days. We have been forced to flee over 25 times, moving from city to city with nothing but fear and exhaustion. Every time we thought we would return, but this last displacement has left us with nothing at all. All that we worked so hard to rebuild has been destroyed again and again.
I am alone carrying all this weight, trying to protect my children and my parents in the middle of war and hardship. Every day is a struggle for survival. Many nights I stay awake in fear, wondering if I will still be able to keep them alive tomorrow. I try to fulfill all my duties as a mother under the harshest and most humiliating circumstances.
 We are desperate for safety.
Our only wish is to escape danger, to give my children a future, and to allow my parents to live their last years in peace and dignity. Winter is approaching, and after being forced to flee in May with nothing, we now face the cold with no shelter, no warm bedding, no heavy blankets, and no winter clothes.
✨ The dreams of my children:
My son, Yazan, dreamed of becoming a professional football player. But he has lost sensation in two of his toes due to nerve damage and urgently needs a complex surgery, which carries serious risks. This year, Yazan has entered high school after missing two full years of foundational education, a critical stage that would have opened the doors to university and a future he always dreamed of. Despite his young age, he has carried our family’s responsibilities as if he were an adult throughout this war.
My daughter, Leen, is a true artist in every sense of the word. She is a talented painter, has a natural artistic sense in everything, and a special touch for fashion design. She also has a beautiful singing voice, writes poetry with remarkable skill, has elegant handwriting, and excels in poetry recitation and school broadcasting. Supporting them will help us preserve their dreams and give them a chance to flourish despite these hardships.
✨ How your donations will help us:
To secure a safe way out of the war zone.
To provide urgent medical treatment for my sick parents, and for Yazan’s critical surgery.
To cover daily survival needs like food and clean water.
To give my kids the chance to return to school after losing 3 years of education.
To prepare for winter: buy two tents, plastic sheets, wood for proper covering, a simple toilet chair, create a small outdoor kitchen space, and buy bedding, heavy blankets, and winter clothes for the whole family.
Your support is more than just money — it is hope, protection, and life for us.
Please don’t scroll away — your help could be the reason my family survives. Even the smallest gift can change everything for us.
I will provide regular updates to share the latest developments and show how your support is helping us survive and rebuild.
