Dear Supporter
If you are reading my words, then you are already witnessing the story of the most devoted mother and the most wonderful, loving children in the world. We have lived and are still living the most difficult circumstances any human could endure yet here we are sharing with you our inspiring story.
I cannot tell you everything we have been through it is too much for words and I would need books just to explain a part of it. Today I want to focus on what matters most my children.
Imagine waking up again and again under rubble, struggling to understand why, where am I, am I alive? Seeing death with your own eyes more than once. This is what my children and I have lived through. We survived homes collapsing around us and tents bombed while we slept. Every displacement stole our peace. We have never slept safely, never felt secure for even a single night. Every place around us is dangerous yet we clench onto life with all our strength, fighting to survive.
My children deserve a safe home, a warm place to live, and a life like any other child. They deserve to play, go to school, and dream about the future, not wait in lines for water, not fear that bread might not come, not live with constant uncertainty.
Leen, my daughter, has suffered more than any child should. Her spine has been affected by all this and she needs urgent care and attention. She is still a natural artist painting, singing, writing poetry, designing. Supporting her now is giving her a chance to recover and keep her dreams alive.
Yazan, my son, dreamed of becoming a football player. He has lost sensation in two toes due to nerve damage and urgently needs surgery. He missed two years of school and this year is his final year before university. Supporting him now is the only way he can have a real chance at a future where he can study, play, and grow like any child.
