Help ME & YOUnicorn Build Safe Animal Housing

ME & YOUnicorn is the 501(c)(3) for our farm. This year, we have been unable to take in any unwanted rabbits and roosters because we do not have adequate housing. In a regular year, we take in anywhere from 10-20 unwanted rabbits and 10+ roosters. We have had to turn everyone away this year because we do not have ample, safe housing for the unwanted animals being turned in. Hutches turned in with pet rabbits are typically adopted out with the pets we take in and rehome and are not suitable for outdoor use.

Please help us raise money for materials to build new animal housing. Everything we have now needs to be replaced. We would like to rebuild or replace our current hutches and coops and create 10-20 more so we have the space to take in unwanted animals.

The animals turned in are cared for and vetted, and then rehomed. There is such a need for this type of service. Weekly people contact us asking for help as there is no place to send unwanted rabbits and roosters. Your assistance helps us house, feed, and care for these animals.
