Help Meadow & her Family Kick Cancer's A$$
Donation protected
On January 15, 2019, while recovering from a ruptured appendicitis, Meadow went to have a palpable mass in the axilla evaluated that turned out to be advanced breast cancer. She had to rapidly wean her breastfeeding 9 month old baby girl, Magnolia, and start treatment. The plan is: 1) neoadjuvant chemotherapy (doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide, then Taxol), 2) surgery (mastectomy with lymph node dissection), 3) radiation daily for 6-8 weeks 4) hormone therapy with ovarian suppression, and 5) chemotherapy trial at MD Anderson in Houston (CDK inhibitor). The treatment has been difficult for Meadow and her family as they are managing their normal life with two small children and now this illness. She is experiencing many side effects and illnesses, making it difficult to work. This is likely going to be a very challenging year for them in many ways.
Many of you have asked how you can help. We have created this fund to help Meadow and her family take care of medical expenses and help provide for her family. Meadow and her family are very thankful to have amazing friends and family who have shown such love and support during this hard time. To all who have helped, will help and continue to do so, thank you so much.
