Help Meagan and Evelyn Overcome Hardship

Hi, my name is Meagan and my daughter is Evelyn. It's really just us, I don't have any family support. In the past six months we've gone through a lot.

Over Christmas we both had covid, which caused me to have to take a leave from work as my only child care is Evelyn's daycare.

My first week back, Evelyn came down with strep. After that she had an ear infection, pink eye, two ear infections at once, another heart murmur scare that we started investigating last April of 2023, fifths disease and then most recently she was on a nebulizer every 4 hours for suspected pneumonia/asthma.

All of this has caused me to lose my full time hours as an Insurance Representative and the hours I'm left with are not making ends meet.

I've tried everything. Westmoreland County Housing Assistance approved me for funding but my landlord cannot supply them the information they requested. I've called other charities/churches, I got one to pledge $200 but I have to have the rest first. The rest won't respond for upwards of 4 weeks I was told. I'm behind on all of my bills. My dog needs groomed. And I just don't know what else to do. I'm going to pawn my one necklace and my two rings but I have no other gold jewelry and the amount of money I'll get pawning them might be enough to keep the lights on for a month.

I've put in application after application on indeed and LinkedIn. All of the hours available for those who contacted me back are outside the window I have for childcare.

I don't expect to have an opportunity for full time again until they are scheduling new hires in July. Please. I'll even do odd jobs during the day while my daughter is at daycare. Anything. I just need some help, I'm so afraid we will soon be facing homelessness. I don't want to have to choose between the lights or hot water being on.

I have back due rent and utility bills, as well as some work that needs done on my vehicle in order to pass inspection in June. Anything you can share with me, be it finances or knowledge or advice is so so so greatly appreciated.
