Help medical bills for my dad, David Berman

My dad was airlifted to the hospital Sunday evening for a stroke. Thank god my mother was there to spot the signs. Unfortunately my dad doesn’t have insurance at the moment as he was always worried about others safety and not his own. He has been making progress over the past few days; relearning how to eat, drink, see, and walk. I really need my dad back.
He has taken on the role as the sole provider of the family since he was 18 and has not stopped since. He is the most strong willed person I know. He was always the man with the plan. The man who fixes everyone else’s problems. The man who goes out of his way for his job and the people around him every single day. He was always there for everyone and he put himself last. He is my hero, my best friend, and my dad.
Medical bills will be ungodly high due to lack of insurance. The hospital is trying to let him go home, and that is the last thing he needs. They won’t help us with rehabilitation because it’s all about the money and not his life at stake.
If you know me or my family at all, you would understand we would never go out of our way to ask anything from anybody unless it was severe. Neither would my dad, and if it was up to him he would never say a word to anyone about the struggles we’ve been facing.
My brother and I are keeping the business running while my mother has stayed at the hospital ever since Sunday night, not leaving his side.
Our priorities have changed completely and we are willing to part with anything at this rate. This is a very rough time for our family and if you can donate even a little, I promise it makes a difference. If not, your support is more than enough and we thank you for that.
